The date of birth entered in the application must match the Matriculation or Secondary Examination certificate. Requests to change the date of birth later will not normally be accepted.

SSC CPO Educational Qualification 2026

SI in Delhi Police and SI GD in CAPFs

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or an equivalent qualification on or before the closing date for online applications.

Candidates who are appearing in their final year of graduation may apply, but they must obtain the essential qualification by the application closing date, 30 September 2026.

Driving Licence Requirement for Delhi Police SI Male

Male candidates applying for the Sub-Inspector (Executive) post in Delhi Police must possess a valid driving licence for Light Motor Vehicles as on the date specified in the notification. Candidates who do not hold the required licence may still be considered for certain Delhi Police SI vacancies subject to the conditions in the official notice, but they will not be eligible for the relevant driving requirement. SI Fire in CISF

Candidates must have either:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognised university or equivalent; or

• Matriculation/equivalent plus a three-year diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Automobile, Chemical, Mining, Aeronautical, Telecommunication Engineering or an equivalent discipline from a recognised institution.

SSC CPO Selection Process 2026

The recruitment process includes:

PST/PET is qualifying only. Candidates who fail the prescribed physical standards or endurance events are eliminated from the recruitment process. Eligible ex-servicemen are exempted from PET but must meet the prescribed physical standards, written-examination requirements and medical standards.

Candidates claiming height or chest relaxation must produce the prescribed certificate from the competent authority of their ordinary place of residence.

SSC CPO Medical Examination

Candidates who qualify Paper-II undergo a Detailed Medical Examination by the authorised medical board or medical officer. Candidates declared unfit may undergo a Review Medical Examination according to the prescribed procedure.

The Computer-Based Examination date has not yet been notified in the official notice. The admit card will be released through the relevant SSC regional website or candidate login before the examination.
