What Is UTET Paper I and Paper II?
UTET is a state-level teacher eligibility test for candidates seeking teaching opportunities in Uttarakhand schools.
• UTET Paper I: For teaching Classes 1 to 5 at the primary level
• UTET Paper II: For teaching Classes 6 to 8 at the junior or upper-primary level
• Candidates who meet the relevant eligibility conditions may appear for both papers.
Passing UTET does not itself provide a government teaching appointment. It makes a candidate eligible to apply for suitable teaching vacancies when they are advertised by the concerned department or recognised institution.
