Local Language Proficiency Requirement
Candidates had to apply for a vacancy in one state only. A candidate applying for one state is not eligible to apply for another state under this recruitment.
Candidates must be able to read, write and speak the mandatory local language of the state selected in the application. Candidates who did not study the prescribed local language in Class 10 or Class 12 must appear for a Local Language Proficiency Test (LPT) before the personal interview.

Eligibility Criteria

There is a penalty of one-fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to a question for each incorrect answer. No penalty is applied to an unanswered question. There are no sectional qualifying marks, but the minimum aggregate qualifying mark is 35% for unreserved candidates and 30% for reserved candidates.
